"Very good food and nice staff! The atmosphere at Tacos Locos is friendly and welcoming, the staff there are helpful and fun to interact with. The place is clean and pleasant to dine in. We enjoyed our food greatly in a relaxed atmosphere. Went there on Sunday for lunch and they welcomed us and our dog with open arms. There were 6 of us and we ordered starters, main dishes and lots of drinks, everything was delicious and fresh and the main dishes portions were generous. Hope to go back there many times "

"New to the area, we were looking for authentic Chinese food. If you order from the Chinese menu or the Mandarin Specialties menu, you will be fine. There is a problem. The majority of their business is of the sweet and sour chicken balls variety and take out. Having said that, their beef and gai lan off the Chinese menu rivaled Singapore. To order off the Chinese menu, you must go in after 7 PM or in the quiet periods of the day. You must order the whole duck 24 hours in advance.Now, as to the loud waitress. She did not appear to be deaf but she may have grown up around someone who was deaf which would make speaking loudly a habit. She was very nice, helpful, attentive, but did not appear to have had any wait staff training. She was absolutely doing the best she could and that is all anyone can do.We absolutely will be going back. I am making arrangements to have the Chinese menu translated. In the future, I will phone and pre-order so the kitchen has time to prepare the specialty dishes."

"Great to see, wagamama increasingly add vegan options to their menu. as they expect, everything is of good quality and tasteful. I had the short ribs, the spicy cauliflower and the stir fried greens. all served well and quickly."

"This is a gem! Since my first visit I have been back every time I visit Canterbury. The food is always consistent. I would advise not going if you do not intend on returning to Canterbury. You will find yourself craving their food 24/7. The tap selection is amazing too. Nothing not to like!"

"Seating area located next to/inside the vibrant Goods Shed market. Service was fairly friendly and attentive, but very slow! They reassured us that everything was alright and the kitchen was running fine but it still took a considerable amount of time to get our mains. I had the carrots and cucumber with anchovy mayo to start wouldn't recommend. As nice and fresh as it all was, nowhere on the menu did it say it would be raw and just assembled. The mayo was also quite weak, especially for an anchovy mayo. For the main, I had the lamb sorry I can't remember what came with it, but it was very tasty would recommend. Pricepoint is leaning towards overpriced, some items are better value than others. Overall experience was quite good, except for the speed."
