"We had a takeaway from Wing Hung for the first and last time tonight. We decided to try a new restaurant after reading a good review on it. Having placed our order at 6pm we were informed that it would be ready at 7pm, it was ready at 7.20pm. We sat down hungry with excitement only to be disappointed with a tasteless meal apart from the king prawns which my husband enjoyed. Will go elsewhere next time."

"As usual we’ve got a very warm welcome- also for the dogs. The atmosphere is very cosy and the Hogstar a great lager if you like it a bit more flavoured than mass lagers. The highlight were the ribs, back on the menu after the winter break."

"Always a hit and miss with the service at this place...unfortunately I keep coming back for the ribs. The sesame chicken strips are also good, aswell as the desserts...and the tgi burger. Kids’ menu is good too!"

"I’ve certainly had my fair share from high end to low end. Chinese does not get better than this place The team cannot bend over enough and the manageress runs a tight ship. Every night all tables, chairs and even the menus get a thorough wipe down. Then there’s the food. Delicious and appetising is how I would describe it. My family will be back. Thank you, well done and keep it up!"

"Very pleasant experience considering restrictions. We booked a table outside and we were sat in the back yard, under a marquee. Next time I will request inside as I loved the low ceiling and old fashioned decor. The service was very good and the food excellent. The menu is very short but it provides great choice. We were 4 (2 couples) and we enjoyed the food. The prawns on bisque sauce were so delicious, I need to learn how to prepare that sauce. I followed that with scallop ceviche, it wasn't my favourite as I am used to real South American ones but I still cleared the plate. It was beautifully decorated. And as a main course I had the fillet steak which was cooked perfectly rear. But the tastiest food of them all was the ox cheek croquette that accompanied the fillet steak. That was sensationally tasty. That should be prepared and served in the future as its own main course. The only criticism is that the cheese board was too small to my taste as I love cheese. But there was an extra touch at the very end of the meal..., they prepared one free birthday and a free wedding anniversary treat for my son and his wife. Totally unexpected. The waitress just heard us during the initial toast and the rest is history!"
