"We are staying in the village for the week on holiday with our 5 month old. We popped down for Curry Night on Wednesday after it was recommended in the visitors book. It was DELICIOUS!!! A curry with a slow build up of spice, served with a HUGE popadom, naan bread and rice (we had half and half and had it with some chips too! . Also got three very tasty chutneys to munch through! Which is AMAZING for the grand price of £7.95!! Bar staff were lovely, very friendly and brought our drinks over when we were eating so it wouldn’t get cold (beer was lush! Chef came out to collect our plates and check everything was ok which was lovely. It was very quiet in there when we got there but then there was a steady stream of people once we were eating. Clean and tidy, feels like a ‘proper pub’. Well worth a visit and would happily visit again and recommend to anyone staying near by!!! Thank you for a lovely evening! Ben, Victoria and Caleb xx"

"What a surprise to find this restaurant. Very nice place in the pirate theme. We arrive a bit late but the service was very good and the staff nice. We enjoyed a lot our fresh fish! And the kraken was the good cocktail to go with it!"

"Great delicious waffles right next to a chippy that has a vegan menu, so can get main and dessert Unfortunately they had no vegan options on the crepes, but the waffles are beautiful. Although it is not cheap the portions are really big, so you can easily share. The staff is also very helpful."
