"Was told an hour and 10 mins when ordering at the takeaway, which was a small simple order. Whilst waiting lots of people came ordered and got there food after we had ordered. When we did get the food it was cold and tasteless so clearly wasn't fresh which made me question why an earth we had to wait as long as we did. Luckily only here for a weekend but would not recommend."

"The Hundred House was the first place we went to last year after restaurants started reopening and we were so impressed that we decided to return when we were in the area again this year. This time we had Sunday lunch, which was delicious. There was plenty of meat, 6 different veggies as well as potatoes, and a separate jug of gravy. I couldn't face a pudding but my husband had a sundae which I had a little taste of lovely. There are still gazebos outside so there is plenty of room for people who would prefer not to sit inside. Service was friendly and efficient."

"Absolutely brilliant had a late lunch unplanned just turned up and Dave the barman and waiter could not have been more welcoming or friendly . The food was fantastic and so where the cocktails . My sister and brother in law thought it was the absolute best and they will definitely be back as will we. Thanks for a great afternoon xxx"

"Staying in Brecon for a few days and tried the Wellington, for a large Hotel and part of a large chain had a good vibe and great service. Special mention to Jacob who was attentive and delivered service with a genuine smile."

"I don’t write a huge amount of reviews, but felt compelled to do so for Hills to provide balance to some of the not so positive reviews about service. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with regards to service, I actually messed up our booking and what could have been an easy “not our problem” response from Hills, they smoothed everything out and ensured we got the meal and experience we had driven so far for. You can tell from the other reviews the food is proper tasty, so not much need to say much more on that."

"Visited Bank Holiday Monday Lunch time Both Had Sirloin steak with a pepper sauce. Staff all A1 very pleasant and attentive could not do enough for you The meal themselves were first class Both steaks 8 0z cooked to perfection and all the meal Chips peas Mushroom served hot every thing fresh Great Meal together with two classes wine Prices very reasonable Will certainly call again well done all and thank you"
