"Arrived on Mother's day to have a late brunch at 11:45am and they informed us breakfast was over?! What is that about? And on Mother's day? LAME! This explains why this restaurant does so poorly compared to the other options in town."

"We were staying at the Prestige Hudson Bay Lodge and the main restaurant was closed because they were replacing their front door. The desk clerk told us we could get the same food in Don Cherry's.We had the Seafood Mac and Cheese because it was clear from the menu that this was not your typical Kraft Dinner. We were not disappointed. Best Mac and Cheese this side of Kalooki's but that is in Turks and Caicos Islands.The staff was very accommodating. Took care with my wife's allergy to pepper. Moved the BC Lions football game onto the biggest screen where we could see it better. They also took time to have a nice talk with us (don't worry Don, it wasn't busy at the time ;)"

"75 minutes & $80 I will never get back again! It took 40+ minutes to get food for myself & 3 kids at 8:00 pm on a Thursday night; not even busy in the restaurant. The waitress chose to sit with her friends instead of serving us. Paid for a coffee I never got b/c I was too irritated to check the bill before I paid. The bugs n' cheese was cold, the meat sauce for my daughters bandera bread was cold. The entire purpose for this place's existence is to provide food...they have failed in the past 4 years that we have lived in Smithers but this is the last time I will ever go here."

"Stopped in for lunch on the way through town, very nice facility and staff were friendly and service prompt, all meals were good but nothing was awesome. Priced a little higher than some but not too high. Portions are average, giving it a 4 out...of five instead of a 3 due to the atmosphere and staff, food was a 3 average."

"After 8 hours driving we stopped for dinner at 5pm.The waitress was rude from the get go,acting as if we were a bother.We were the ONLY customers the entire time.After food arrived she turned the lights off In our corner and blared music."
