"Head and shoulder up! not a pint stella or green king ipa in itself! a very large selection of well maintained craftsmen, real ales and warehouse wines. perfect to wash the food from their menu from local sources and food. I had the poisoning that was shot in the spot, from which I was supposed to die. if you haven't been, what are you waiting for?"

"Went for a quick drink with our young child and was told in quite an unfriendly and sullen manner to leave the area we were standing in and sit in the other side of the pub. Didn’t see any signs stating this. Seems like a family friendly pub from the outside but isn’t really. A friendly smile doesn’t cost the earth, guys. Won’t go again."

"Great little chicken shop in st albans. Good quality chicken and amazing rice. The chilli sauce is very good too. Sitting in the shop is a bit weird but I don't care too much. The food has always been brilliant."

"The crispy cuck was really crispy on the outside and succulent inside. The plum sauce was too thick and looked like it had been left out and dried out a bit, far too thick, but tasted good. The Beef in black bean sauce had a good chili bite to it. The beef was succulent and there was plenty of it. I have had slightly more aromatic black bean sauce elsewhere in the past and preferred that. All in all an enjoyable meal and I will buy here again. So far this is the best I have found in St Albans. A solid four stars"

"Went in today with a friend for lunch, it was busy but we were served promptly food arrived at the table very soon after ordering. Jade who served us was very polite friendly chatty. She said it was only her second shift but she came across as very confident very polite. Well done to her it made our visit all the more pleasant. Thank you, we will be back again!"
