"I had High expectations as most places in Superior Wisconsin have legit food the first go around. I'm gonna say this was just an off time of day and give it another go. I haven't seen other breakfast establishments in the area miss the mark on the first visit quite like this place did, hence the rating. Im not a fan of negative reviews however it gives the establishment a beat on what to improve upon. Syrup was in disposable sauce cups waste of time. I haven't encountered this practice during covid until my encounter at this establishment, however I do find it common for butter. Not necessarily a negative thing. Just might find prepackaged syrup more convenient as well as those little foil butter packets. I guess it was one of my picky days . I will definitely give the other location a try as well."

"Great! Had the 3 pieces chicken lunch special. In had no better roasted chicken in the twin ports. Only 8,99 plus $4 pitcher from Hammen. A great addition to the superior food scene. I hear the ribs are even better. But every time I'm here, they're all gone!!"

"Went for the Friday fish fry, unique in that they start serving at noon. It was good Alaskan pollock, served fast and hot, and the hand cut fries were outstanding! "Had a day trip at Boyce arboretum and came here for dinner afterwards, and y’all- this place is soooo good!!! I got the pulled pork sandwich with a side of macaroni salad while my boyfriend got the brisket sandwich with fries (both were phenomenal). I also got a spicy mango margarita which was legit one of the best I’ve had in a longgg time. Our bartender/server Charlie was also super nice and made us feel right at home, such a great dinner experience to top off a fun day!! "The Soul Plane of Soul Food restaurants! We really wanted to like this place, but what went on while we were ordering food made us think we were being pranked. Employees cursing and quitting mid-shift, health dept coming in and threatening closure, most items on the menu weren't available. It was off-putting, and I'm not sure if we will try it again. (If so, maybe we will try dining in) However, our food was mediocre, so our return visit chance is very slim."
