"Visited a couple of times during the month of April 2021. Ate one meal upstairs, good portions, decently priced and acceptable quality of food. I would recommend for a good decent simple feed. Downstairs Cafe was the same. Good food and well priced"

"Stay at the hotel on site and went to the restaurant for dinner. Quiet night as it was a Monday night. I had the ribs and rags especially. Really nice meal. A little too big for me, but really nice."

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Eli to anyone looking for a top-notch service. "We had lunch on a weekend and there was no lunch menu available. The main menu wasn't overly appealing for lunch. We had decided to go there so stayed. The meals weren't anything out of the normal for a pub meal. The service was good and the views were great."

"Had waited for quite some time to visit this restaurant, as it had been re-vamped. I did not enjoy the atmosphere at all it was noisy and more like a barn like experience. It was a busy time granted but on top of that the...food was very poor. I had the pork, it was overcooked and dry, what was supposed to be an apple type sauce was already dried on the plate and the cabbage and bacon and potato mash it sat on was something that I would take all the leftovers out of the fridge and bamix together it was terrible. My Daughter had the same it was an awful meal, granddaughter had the chicken, which was also dry and so tasteless. The menu reads well, but the food is overpriced and terrible. I am sorry but will not return."
