"A big, noisy barn of a place but we would go again the next time we are in the area. Service started a bit slow. I would say understaffed. The hostess got us a salad and buns to help the waitress out. Smart move. The food was excellent."

"While the restaurant is in a beautiful location and the building itself is nice, my lunch was pretty average. Had the beef dip with salad. Although it was advertised as AAA prime rib, it was overcooked and dry. Don't know what part of the cow it was from! Thank heaven for the dip. Hubby had salmon burger - said it was delicious. He liked his soup as well.Quite pricey for lunch but considering where the restaurant is located ....."

"My husband and I went to dinner on Friday Jan 19th, it was super busy being as it was right before a hockey game. We were a little worried that we wouldn't have time to get foood before going to the game, but boy were we wrong! Within moments a waitress came by with menu's and shortly after that we had out drink and had placed our appy and dinner order. I ordered the plank salmon and my husband ordered the steak and spawns and boy were we in for a treat! I have never had salmon that good! My husband even shared some of his steak and spawns with me and boy do I know what I'm ordering next time! The yam risotto was amazing! We had a delightful dinner and made it to the hockey game with plenty of time to spare! We will definatly be going again!"

"First time trying it. I had the sliced brisket. Very pleased with the meal overall. Meal comes with hush puppies, but would have preferred to order a side of cornbread. The staff was really friendly and food came out quick."

"Inconsistent Operating Hours?The very first time we tried this place they were serving from a truck and it was good. Once they opened the brick and mortar building everything went sideways.Frequently closed for a variety of reasons with no warning, burnt meat on two occasions, dry sides and very spotty service. Often out of products with the excuse “We were busy earlier”. Cardinal rules for restaurants: don’t run out of food. Especially your main items. And maintain regular hours.Today was their last shot with us. They didn’t answer the phone so we headed over to buy some BBQ. Closed. Again. Catering a Food Truck event and short staffed. Sure, the pandemic makes things tough, but how about a message on an answering service letting customers know that the place is closed? Or post a notice on their web page or Facebook page.Not acceptable.And…they’re out of business and closed at this location. No grave dancing, it’s rough seeing a business close, and no one wants to see someone go under. But there is a formula for success in the food business and this operation could not figure it out."
