"The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the location. There is a nice view and it's all outdoor seating so you can feel the ocean breeze. The food so shockingly bland. We had the crab balls which have a very odd, soft, almost dip like texture. We also had fries which somehow managed to taste like absolutely nothing. I asked for salt and was brought beer salt in a plastic container. The fact that they don't have a salt or pepper shaker in the building might be while the food is so bland. The pretzels bites were okay but the beer cheese was again...very bland. It's also massively over priced. I get it's Galveston but this food is priced about twice what it should be for portion size IF it tasted good. We will absolutely never be back. I'm going to have to assume that the only reason this place is still open is because of vacationers that don't know any better."

"FishTails Galveston at the Seawall. This location is directly in the middle of what I consider all the fun stuff at Galveston Beach. They were able to accommodate us on a very busy Black Friday for the holiday season with a group of 12. The host that's got us in there did an excellent job. Our waitress was very very good at what she does and recommended the best dishes on the menu for our liking. She was very attentive and had a good sense of humor . Now some people are wondering why does this have a 4-star review. Well everything above is the reason why. Now one stars were taken away because we did not like all the food. We spent around $300 on this meal and the food for the adults was interesting to say the least Note: the entrees only). Now once again the kids which were six of them. They truly enjoyed themselves and their food was good. Now we all know kids like simple stuff . Just to be honest the fish and the shrimp just did not taste real "

"My friend and I had dinner there Soday, our waiter Justin was amazing, even after I frightened him.This place is Galveston's best secret secret! The food was really 5 stars, great wine, and again amazing service. I work for carnival, I'm one of their Punchliner comedians.
