My wife and I have dined at Blvd. many, many times and have always found it to be a first-rate experience. The seafood is, we think, the best in town and the sides, particularly the scalloped potatoes and the asparagus, are excellent. Adding to the experience, the servers are friendly and professional. Last night, Taylor was our server and did an outstanding job. View all feedback.
What Esperanza Lindgren doesn't like about Blvd. Seafood:
This is restaurant week in Galveston. We have frequented Blvd. Seafood many times and have always enjoyed ourselves. But tonight the special was Pork Chops they were not the usual Pork Chops. The sides were a green cold mashed potatoes that looked as if it had sat on the counter for awhile. But the Green Beans were wonderful. I think when you showcase a dish for Restaurant Week it should be something you want people... View all feedback.
We stopped during our vacation to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday. The food was fabulous. We had the smoked salmon crostini appetizer, delicious! I'm never a smoked salmon fan as he tends to be very fishy, but that was so fresh.. without this strong smoked salmon aftertaste.. and so delicious! I had the Zedernplank salmon so delicious for my entrée. My husband had the Gumbo, said it was the best he ever had.. along with the BLVD sampler, also so delicious! Our server was so attentive and very appealing, I totally forgot his name. so sorry! He was also kind enough to write a free dessert plate with happy birthday on him next to a sample of cheesecake! Be careful, we ordered the Crème Brule Trio thought it would be a sampler board NOT!! it is definitely too much for two people to share. We couldn't finish it! But again, so delicious!!! The only drawback is that is very loud in the restaurant. We had a difficult time to talk to each other. It seemed a diner or burger joint before BLVD seafood, according to the decor and decor. The tables are very close together, there is also a bar area. It is a very small restaurant, so reservations are recommended for busy nights. You can certainly not expect a quiet, intimate dinner. I'm not sure why the sound level was so high, but the food makes it safe. Fine food safe!!
My friend and I had dinner there Soday, our waiter Justin was amazing, even after I frightened him. This place is Galveston's best secret secret! The food was really 5 stars, great wine, and again amazing service. I work for carnival, I'm one of their Punchliner comedians. Guests always ask where to eat in Galveston, from Thursday Blvd Seafood will be my number a suggestion. Thank you. Chris Lopez to get Blvd to the island. Carnival Cajun Queen Caroline Picard
This was “O”mazing!!!!!!!!!!!! I recommend 100% BLVD seafood. I had a delicious salad to begin, followed by black tuna and fabric shrimp appetizers. Everything was delicious and perfectly smaller sizes because I had never been thrilled to eat on full meal.
Wonderful food and fantastic service! The wedge salad and shrimp and grits were delicious. The presentation was beautiful! Very recommended!
Best little restaurant in Galveston! Brian was our waiter and made the meal even more enjoyable with his suggestions!
