"The food was excellent. The service, however, was atrocious. Either our waiter was in training or he didn 't speak enough English. He could not explain the dishes. He brought out an incorrect dish and didn 't even apologize. We had to ask for water (again and again), clean plates, and we had to wait much, much too long for a check. It 's too bad, because the food is really excellent. I will not return because they basically made us feel unwelcome."

"Ordered a two roll lunch special for takeout. I chose the tuna roll and a salmon cucumber roll. There was way too much rice in the rolls for the amount of fish that was in it. The special also comes with a miso soup, but there was no seaweed or tofu in it. I have a feeling it was just miso paste and chicken bouillon. I also noticed the special rolls on their menu are mainly spicy rolls or tempura. There are no actual chunks of fish in it, so there's not much variety when it comes to that. I really wanted to like this place but I didn't love the sushi, and what I ordered were just basic rolls."

"TLDR: Definitely my go to for Korean Chinese. Second location of the original Palisades Park location. It 's comfy, it 's clean, it 's delicious. Get yourself some noodles, some fried pork and jjampong!I was happy to hear that another location of Hong 's opened because the Palisades Park location can get quite busy. Parking is easy, the space is clean, comfortable and tasty as always. It 's hard to find reasonably price good food nowdays.The boiled dumplings are small and full of flavor. The pork is so delicately crispy, the sauce is on the side (because who wants soggy fried stuff) and so addicting. The jjampong has plenty of seafood, the broth is delightfully rich yet balanced with springy noodles.If you like jjangmyeon or jjampong this is where you need to drop by."
