"I made a reservation on the phone, but it has made me some attempts to get everything except an activated signal. We had a party of nine for a Wednesday dinner at 18:00, but they were already out of the big round tables and asked if we were fine with sitting on a long table. No biggie. The entrance is not grandiose: it made me cozy when I saw it. We were picked at our table, and they don't mind that there were some baby foods that were taken from outside the restaurant to feed a baby as long as the ingredients did not contain meat or fish. We were a little overwhelmed by the long menu, but the six adults of the party chose one or two dishes when the waitress came to us. She offered advice and helped to communicate what others had already ordered so that we could avoid redundancy not only in dishes but also in flavors (e.g. Thai basil). I thought that was helpful, as well as their confirmation whether any of the dishes we ordered contain all the food I am allergic. If you are gluten-free, avoid noodles, dumplings and mock meat. You also have a few dishes containing peanuts. But her menu is allium-free. I enjoyed the smokey tofu skin that was on the table as an appetizer when we arrived. The vegan intestine was also fantastic: dehydrated and beautified oyster mushrooms that had a nice bite. The cucumber (mung bean, the gluten-free noodle salad was refreshing. I loved the muted stinking tofu stew and swallowed two squares and some of the soup. The lion mushroom with broccoli was so juicy compared to other restaurants I was to. We ordered the middle sizes for all dishes that were the right amount for six adults, a teenager, a toddler and a baby. One of my friends also ordered Wintons in Chile, but I didn't try it because it contained gluten. But it didn't look right: there was missing the court signature red chili oil! And I was told that the engagement didn't taste quite right: it was more like a vegetable dump. (She expected more of a Mock-Bodenpork texture. The brown sugar rice cakes were so good that we bought 2 orders (10 to take home and enjoy. The outer layer of mochi was delicate and soft, and the texture of the filling was so fine: get You! I thought it was strange that they did not accept credit cards if the price point is slightly higher than your standard hole in the wall. But I think that's how they roll. "This is a relatively new place. Easy to find B2 the eslit bookshop. 4 types of curry, rice, salad, a few vegetables, and fried veggie ball, and a small mochi. Pumpkin soup is delicious, Curry was good. Also have noodles, salads,panini. Worth visiting."

"This venue is located right on the corner opposite Longshan Temple. It's pretty hard to miss! The food is made to order and comes out fresh and nourishing. However, getting there at 7pm is asking for a long wait and is best avoided. Come from 5pm onwards for an early dinner, or after 8pm for a late dinner to avoid wasting up to 30 minutes waiting for your order: it's a two-person operation with one person only cooking. Don't order until you see someone buying something that takes your fancy. Even if you can read Chinese, the meals may not be what you expect! The $60 vegan sushi is the only food item you can walk away with, so is good for a quick snack."

"Was here July 2019. Saw this place listed on happycow and gave it a try. Here's my Xin Xin YiYuan Tang review. It's a basic little place with little room to nagivate and is overall a bit messy. The folk that run it are a few elders. They only speak Chinese but were friendly to point out the bakery items that are without egg or dairy. I tried the traditional style pastry with sweet mung bean paste inside, and it tasted fine. Some savory cooked dishes are laid out on a table, and you could just point to what you'd like to have it with white rice."
