"We 3 (pair with child) were here this afternoon. we were the first guests, as we were there shortly after the opening. the very friendly owner received us and showed us the table. the food was very tasty and especially freshly prepared (you could hear as the kitchen was quite close and it also came from the time needed)! we had the child carving with late zle for our little daughter and we had 1 the cordon bleu and 1 omi’s pfanne. the ingredients were very good. tastefully perfectly matched. the cognac mushroom sauce very, very delicious! the panade of cordon bleu brilliant! and even our daughter who rarely empty her teller has left nothing. in between, the very nice chefin came by us and brought our daughter a little present she was very happy about! we are happy to come back!"

"We are on Saturday evening (without reservation)! after a long walk to the fourth have come to eat and have actually received a very nice table on the magnificent Mediterranean graceful terrace. opposite the small vinothek with wine sale.On the very interesting map is for everyone what was there, especially pleasant were the not ubiquitous appetizers. we had let out in olive oil broth pieces and the bratpaprika (at least 25 pieces in one portion) - both excellent. there are also many other small tapas-like dips. Nothing is boring. the 6 langostinos (€ 24) with avocadosalat (which was unfortunately somewhat too cold) were beautifully dressed and have very well tasted, the lamb chops (€ 18) on lukewarm lens salad a dense, the bark fillet (€ 23) and the red beeb fillets (€ 21) wonderful. all very beautifully dressed. not to forget the unexcited, attentive service of the two very natural-friendly services. this is not so everyday - thank you to the ladies!We were thrilled and will definitely come back!"

"After walking around Speyer, we wanted a little refreshment and our German friends suggested Alter Hammer. It was very busy, but there was a large table with only 2 people, so we asked if the 4 of us could join them - no problem! My friend said the people in the Pfalz region are very friendly and don't mind to share a table. It was a pleasant location to enjoy the beautiful day along the river, with so many out strolling and enjoying the day. I discovered the Obazda (a cheese onion spread) and pretzel - delicious!"
