"The food was very tasty. I recommend the Parmigiano veal. Our server was personable and helpful with the menu. Since it was NYE, I was nervous about the seats available, but my wife and I were in a cabin that was comfortable enough for two other guests. The prices were very reasonable, but the food didn't suffer. All around a great experience and a great, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant."

"Me and my husband went for our wedding anniversary and everything was great! The service was very attentive and the ambience was very pretty. The only thing I will say is that the mash potatoes on the same dinner was lacking seasoning but everything else was amazing. Will definitely be back! Thank you!"

"I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was a pleasantly bizarre experience. At first, I was disappointed on how it looked because the cheese was completely sliding off. It was as if they cooked the cheese separately and put it on top of the sauce. (maybe that's how its supposed to be..? but when I bit into that first slice, it was one of the best pizza I ever tasted. Me and a buddy finished it all and had serious thoughts about going back to the restaurant for seconds! Highly recommend."

"We ate at Chickies and got a bunch of different meals, all of which sit extremely well for takeout. Upon walking in, we saw a mountain of takeout orders proving that this place is in demand. Although the rating is 3.9, the experience blows that number out of the water. A quaint, beautiful little setting. The drinks were great, but the food was incredible. We got the rice balls, which had the famous gravy, as well as the garlic bread with mozzarella. It was amazing. The salad was incredibly unique. Polly Walnuts was the name of it. And then I got the chicken parm sandwich for dinner, which the second half will make for a perfect lunch for tomorrow. This place exceeded expectations and continues to impress."

"Nestled in the modernized and updated jersey city area, this Italian restaurant offers great dishes. As a local, we started visiting here almost 8 years ago and now this place has become an annual staple for my friends and I. The ambiance is low key modern. Like a big city steak house, they have very dark wood and low light so you can enjoy your company and the food without distraction. The food is amazing. It has not changed over the years which a good and a bad thing. The taste is great and will leave you salivating. I have had the entire menu so I can tell you every dish os really good. Love the watermelon salad and the steak giambatta the best. The ravioli is very good also. The bad is that in all my years coming to this establishment, they have added cocktails to the bar, but the menu is the same. I know you don't mess with perfection but when it comes to food it might be nice to add some different dishes. The service is always great. When we come it is with a crew of 5 to 6 couples and we get loud. They wait staff is always great to us."
