"As a group for mothers day. The staff are very nice but the service was slow. Such a large gap between starters. Starters good, roasts ok, put nice but mash had strange flavour."

"Been living in the area for almost 30 years and have seen many different faces in this kebab house. There Usually so friendly and approachable. My daughter and her friends visit regularly and buy kids meals for 1.50, On this occasion when she was on her own, she was asked to pay more . I simply asked why??? the rudeness that came from them was appalling,(slight racism) the words exchanged were not appropriate to write. I feel so offended. I will not be using them again."

"Arrived for a Saturday night concert. Accepted everywhere is busy, it is nearly 6pm. No bookings required, short queue but we soon get seated. No service at all for 20 minutes. Orders taken not complicated 2 prawns as mains, 1 with sp fries; 1 minute steak rare with green beans; espresso, beer and tap water. the drinks come 5 minutes later. 10 minutes later 1 prawn dish, the green beans without main course and a side salad not ordered arrive. 5 minutes more, we call a supervisor beans cold, still 2 mains missing. He takes that away I 'll sort it . Another 5 minutes, still nothing we 've been there nearly 45 minutes. No food for 2 out of 3...but for the cold green beans. We decide to scrub this; pay for what has been delivered surely not the beans nor salad? and leave without. What is the point ? No service, no attention. The one thing they got right the supervisor tells the waitress to waive payment...for that they can have the 1. We understand the pressure of a busy evening everywhere else in o2 is the probably the same. There was enough serving staff ... but no attention and clearly the kitchen couldn 't deliver. Just not acceptable. We enjoyed the concert but I would recommend avoiding the Cafe Rouge outside the venue."

"Excellent local, loads on and finally Charlton has a pub to be proud. Common events, fresh beers and fresh ideas, including family-friendly brunch, which is surprisingly good and really good. Worth a little trip."

"Randomly came here on Sunday evening, and surprisingly this place still had roasts! Came with friends visiting London, and wanted them to try Sunday roast. You know what? We did a very good choice! Food was great! All tree different meat were versions were delicious! Portions are big, and juicy! Also cutlery knives sharp, what is rare for pubs for some reason, and we were able to cut this pork belly crunch"

"I have to admit that I hadn't realised that this family business has vegan pies on offer too or I would have visited before. I had the veggie soya mince and onion pie with mash and liquor. The pie was really nice. The mash and liquor was okay. Overall good value for money."

"Very nice bar with garden and you can enjoy the view of cutty sark. Many special tap beer. I ordered Korea fried chicken, halloumi fries and avocado tomato salad. Bar food portion is small and taste is so so. Price is bit expensive then the others but I understand it is because of the location and environment."

"This is a great pub, especially if you a re a Gunners fan. Fantastic location, stunning architecture and interior decor. Beautifully transformed building with much acknowledgement of its notable history The pub comprises a number of rooms varying hugely in size and style so there is something to suit every mood.
