"After the movie early dinner with my wife and mother-in-law. Seated immediately, visited, immediately, and next to the Green Tea restaurant, everything else was wonderful. You know that a restaurant in its portions and spices is confident when the tables are of salt pepper, and the case of an Asian food restaurant does not have soy sauce, mustard or hot oil on the table to drown the badly seasoned participants and sides. The soup was fleshy and not overdue. Salad was crunchy romaine, with carrots, tomatoes, cucumber and onion. All dressed (not drowned) in a big ginger dressing. The ducks from the kitchen hibachi included beef, scallops and shrimps and was loaded with additional cooked vegetables. I'm glad we made the stop to remember a great option in Helotes"

"Delicious. Authentic. Wonderful. Great service. Food is excellent. I was here every day this week. I can't get enough! The tea is very delicious. I haven't tried the Vietnamese coffee yet. Maybe. I'll be back tomorrow! The staff is incredibly attentive. This place is a hidden gem."

"Nice to meet you, FAST, FLAVORFUL AND AFFORDABLE! Can't say that it was the best Chinese I had, but it was a good choice for a lunch during working hours. At $9.95 for one of their many entrées, soup, and rolls eggs or Rrangoon, you can't beat it. Fried rice could use some work, but it's what it is. Waitress and hostess are so friendly? Will be back soon!"

"Pre-dinner meal here in Helotes. 1st time, and line out the door, which is always a good sign the food is worth it. The Big Daddy is worth it if you are hungry. We opted for a sliced brisket sandwich, 3 tacos, sides of potatoe salad, cream corn, mac-n-cheese, all made from scratchr. Yes please, and slap your momma! So good! Portions plentiful, and small sides enough for 3-4 people to share."

"My birthday was March 14th and I made a reservation almost a week ago. Since my friend gets out late from work, we tried to reserve the latest time possible. We asked for a 9PM reservation which was unavailable and they offered us 8:45 PM instead. I accepted and told them that was fine. On the day of, as we were on our way, the restaurant called me and asked if we were still confirmed for the reservation and I found out the time they had was 8:15 PM. I explained to them it was supposed to be 8:45 PM, and I told them we were less than 10 minutes away from the restaurant. The hostess said it wasn 't a problem. 2 minutes later, I get a call from the restaurant, but this time was from the manager who was very angry and rude for being late. I was upset that they did not hear the correct time when I reserved the dinner. The manager said No we have it for 8:15 PM and it is unfair to keep the cooks waiting. I explained to him we were about 5 minutes away from the restaurant. He proceeded to say I 'm telling you we will not seat you. Bye and hung up the phone. I 've never heard such a rude and unacommading manager like that ever. However, the hostess that night was kinder and handled the situation better and even apologized. I told her how appreciative I was of her than her manager and she said that just the way he gets when he 's mad. I think I would return to give this restaurant a second chance but just wanted to share my disappointing experience. It made me quite upset and if the manager would 've handled the situation differently, I don 't think I would 've been that upset."

"I was in this place a few times and never had any problems. I see if you don't like your job, you'll get another one. Customer service was completely disrespectful. I?d ordered breakfast with sausage and a side order of cookies. When I got my order, it had bacon. I guess the waitress liked the fact that I told her that I didn't want to bacon and before I had a chance to ask about the cookies that she takes off. She comes back with my eggs and a sausage and takes off again before I can even say thank you or even ask about my missing product. I decide to wait a few minutes to see if she comes back with my biscuits that she never came to get her down. I asked ?shouldn?t there are two sausages and not just one?? (I have received it in the past). She told me it didn't just come with one and I tried to explain that I always received 2. She didn't want to hear anything I had to say or give me the chance to ask about the cookies and went away and said I could talk to the manager. I thought the manager was more polite and reasonable, but no, I was wrong. Even he never gave me the opportunity to speak or ask my cookies. Of the two I told them I didn't want to eat here anymore and wake up. The manager wasn't even interested and said I didn't care. I don't have time for it? My dad liked this place, so I'll find another place to have breakfast with my dad."
