"I was determined to find out what the rest of perth has been raving about. so despite a disappointing previous experience i ventured back last week do yourselves a favour and be sure to order their aperol spritz they make like no one else throughout perth. compliment it with the taglieri wooden board, tasty cold meats and cheese perfect combination. my friends and i ordered various pastas and gnocchi. all were flavorsome and cooked just right. meanwhile we're looking at other dishes on other tables, they all looked and smelled great deserts were ok, not great. not an indictment on the kitchen though as i understand it comes in from the gelato bar next door. but the...read more"

"Website for the booking was very user friendly. As one approached the appointment, emails reminder on the booking, as well as the day after the meal. A very nice touch I thought. The restaurant opened exactly 1800h and from that moment everything was top notch. The menu was explained to us from the start. All the dishes were melting in your mouth stuff, from the Wagyu Beef Tataki to the Tiramisu. For me personally the grilled duck was wow. My only disappointment was size of the dish and hence a four stars. Great food, great services but small dish size."

"We were looking forward to a family meal and things started ok with $15 jugs of decent beer - however they had no CocaCola which was a disappointment to one of our number - we started with the tapas plate for five of us - it was ok but the jalapeño bites were very uninspiring after other venues. Mains were average at best with two parmigiana, a burger a pizza and salmon salad coming fairly quickly - the concencus around the table gave the food five out of ten - although the salmon quinoa salad was given more and appeared a cut above the other meals. Overall a little disappointing in this day and age to get average pub meals when so many places go the extra mile to impress."

"Dined last night and enjoyed the $60 three course special.<br/ <br/ The entrees of calamari and quail were both very good.<br/ The slow roasted lamb shoulder for two was silky and tender, cooked to perfection (and a very generous size), sides were shaved fennel salad and potato parmigiana (a potato gratin with a parmesan crust).<br/ The Zolo Malbec was a perfect match, an excellent choice by me.<br/ Desserts were very enjoyable, Croatian donuts and panna cotta.<br/ <br/ Service was friendly and attentive."
