What Ivah Morissette doesn't like about Divido:
2 couples, Saturday night, food good but not a lot of choice, service fine, wine overpriced. For a Saturday the place was pretty quiet so lacked any buzz. We had the Entertainment Card so bill was acceptable but would not return.
I am hard to please when it comes to restaurants. I cannot stand overpriced, underserved and overly flamboyant pretentious establishments. There are few I would trouble their doors again. This one is different. I will definitely go there again and I suspect many times. Went...there for a 50th wedding anniversary, 3 sisters from the bridal party and their husbands on a Wednesday night. We had been casting about for a suitable venue as one couple had to catch a red-eye flight. Someone had just discovered Dividos and recommended it to us. Dividos did not disappoint. Not a huge menu but sufficient choice. I had the calamari and osso buco, as a special with a side of red cabbage . Very tasty and good sized servings, cooked to perfection and well balanced taste. Every member of our group commented on the high quality of their meal. Service was attentive and very friendly, the waiter joined in with the atmosphere of our table without being at all obtrusive. The price was not out of this world and in my view represented excellent value.
Following disinterested response to a small takeaway order I almost rang back and cancelled. Wish I had. Walked in and could smell it had not been cleaned well (kitchen or whole establishment? . Almost walked out. Wish I had. Risotto was so tasteless and mushy that...I only ate a small amount. Shame as this was a test to see if this could be my new solo local. Will not be.
Went to Divido by default, so glad we did. The service and meal was impeccable, the whole night was a delight. We will be back.

This is an extremely comfortable and welcoming Italian restaurant (with Croatian dumplings on the dessert menu! . The staff were slightly inexperienced, but very friendly and helpful. The food was just perfect. I had the homemade Gnocchi with duck, porcini ragu, followed by a deconstructed Tiramisu....The Gnocchi was to die for! It really was the best I have had for a very long time and I almost always order it if it is on the menu. The slow cooked Osso Buco was also very well received. The deconstructed Tiramisu was different and quite pleasant, but I would not order it again, mostly because almost all the chocolate was a smear on the plate! The millefoglie was light and crispy and the mascapone ice cream was delicious. I am told that the Fritule were scrumptious. The restaurant was not very busy on a Tuesday night, so our large table of friends was able to talk and be heard easily. This is an excellent location for a tasty and authentic Italian meal.
