"The food and service is five stars at Maya Cafe. My favorites are the burritos and I really like the any burrito available in a bowl option, they also have vegetarian options. "Sister and I went for the Steak Night on Friday 18.06.2021 and the steaks and accompanying dishes were amazing. I had the fillet medium, and sister had sirloin medium so so yummy. Service was exemplary, and staff so so friendly a credit to the wonderful owners and hosts Pauline and Harry who really do go beyond the extra mile in ensuring all their guests feel welcome and well fed in a lovely historic environment. Its like a home from home atmosphere. Thank you ALL"

"Visited this place for the first time, we are not local and felt like strangers in the venue. Waitress wasn't friendly and staffr more interested in a birthday party in the other room. Such a pity as we had travelled quite a distance to eat...at this venue. We ate our food quickly and left."

"Had Sunday lunch last week here. We sat upstairs looking out over the Lough.The hotel was quiet which worried me slightly.Thinking why could this be!!! Truly this Hotel should be buzzing because the food, flavour and presentation was amazing and the potions were huge.Great value for money.The service was great and I couldn't of faulted a thing.Nothing is too much for the chefs..Get yourself down to this Hotel and its beautiful setting on the front shore.A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.You won't be dissappointed."

"We family Dinner with our 7 month baby, last minute decision, we were seated comfortably, such a warm atmosphere decorated beautifully for Xmas with the fire lit definelty gave us the Christmas feels We ended up getting 3 course meals as the dishes were all absolutely delicious full of flavour and a little extra oomph in the ingredients (shallots with butter squash puree with black pudding bits my absolute favourite , a real dining experience in every course, highly recommend, good parking nearby and shops all close by"

"We dropped in by chance without a reservation early eve/late afternoon and staff were extremely accommodating. It was our first time here, the server explained it was based on a tapas style but you could order a large dish if you wanted instead of the small dishes. Everything was perfect, probably one of the best meals we’ve had. There were so many delicious options that we picked 5 small dishes, they were quite substantial so could clear the plate of salt pepper calamari. We had the funky spuds with cheese and garlic (like Patatas Bravas but far nicer), prawn pil pil, spicy chicken wings and meatballs with linguini. Each dish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavour. There’s a great drinks and cocktail menu, we were too full to try dessert but judging by everything else I’m sure they’d be gorgeous too. The restaurant is lovely, atmospheric and cosy, the ideal balance. Can’t wait to try this again, maybe reserve a table for later in the evening."
