"Very nice restaurant. I ordered from the early bird menu, 3 courses for £19.95. The set menu is quite short, but has an option for most tastes.I had the Salmon and Dill fishcake starter, which was very good. The fishcake may have been slightly over done, but the vinaigrette on the salad was incredibly tasty.My main was the Spicy Chicken Salad, which had much more chicken than I expected, I'm not so into anchovies, but they were okay in the salad.For dessert I had the White Chocolate Brulee, it was amazing and had that signature crack to get through the top of the Brulee.Our waitress was incredibly professional and attentive. I would happily come back to The Granary on my next visit to Newtown."

"Cycle touring through in extreme heat which then turned to heavy rain 2 miles from the pub. We stayed on the field for the night. Beautifully mown grass. Shame it was raining heavily and we turned up so late. By the time the tent and tarp was up and we were showered we didn't have a chance to check out the pub, we just passed out. £5 squid each. Now thats what I'm talking about. The highlight was the amazing showers which is what you want after a hard day in the saddy. 20p for 4 minutes of the most wondrous shower.... So we blew 80p in to total between us, the bathrooms had a wonderful pine aroma.... Until the black pudding, egg and baked bean bap passed through but the extractor fan worked well. Thankyou."

"Eating was really tasty, had king garnel with bambus shoot and water chest the woman had huh with ingwer and early dung wobble sweethorn suppe. the staff is so helpful and welcoming, and eating was still hot after our 15 minutes drive back to the holiday home. revitalized and extremely popular, which told us that eating was good.and it was."
