Cycle touring through in extreme heat which then turned to heavy rain 2 miles from the pub. We stayed on the field for the night. Beautifully mown grass. Shame it was raining heavily and we turned up so late. By the time the tent and tarp was up and we were showered we didn't have a chance to check out the pub, we just passed out. £5 squid each. Fabulous meal at the Dolau. Lovely owners and friendly locals. Amazing old building!

The menu of the local is also suitable for vegetarians, as there are courses that completely abstain from meat, early in the morning you can start your day strengthened with a fantastic breakfast.
