"Super nice restaurant for north island. Great atmosphere lots to check out on the walls. Seating was closed due to covid when I was there so didnt get to check out the service. Was take out only at the time. Food was a bit on the expense side, I got one of the combos and had left overs. Food was good and large portions. Located in the old mall on the highway. A bit out of the way if your coming of a boat and you dont have a car. Tons and tons of parking available."

"Went for a bite and drink after kayaking. First time to the area and it was recommended of course by the Quarterdeck Hotel where we were staying. The pub is really worn out and the floors are sticky from something being spilled on them. The entire place is run down and the bathrooms were horrible. Husband had chicken wings and I had soup of the day, beef vegetable. Both were ok, nothing great. Staff were friendly enough but the place was just awful. Will not return. There must be better options to choose from in Port Hardy."

"This place is amazing! The food is high end, homemade using fresh and quality products. A big surprise for a small town. The fish is perfect and tasty! I miscommunicated allergy issues and despite this, the staff was incredibly accommodating and without hesitancy re did my order to perfection. I would highly recommend this place and to add the kitchen was spotless, organized and clean. The desserts are also homemade. 5 stars!"
