"I like that you can get a square meal of meat, bread, chips and salad. None of it stands out though. The souvlaki meat wasn't great quality but was ok, but very bland and the small amount of good tzatziki ran out very quickly. Most of the chips were soggy and the bread may have been stale. It adds a fast food option to the area but just seems disappointing. Nice place and friendly service though and a number of people were just stopping in for a coffee, so maybe that's good."

"Coming from the dining scene of Melbourne, I can say that KL Kitchen is a restaurant which is among the best I have been to. They have a warm and friendly team of staff which attended to our every need. The portion sizes were great, although the Mama's curry could have been a bit larger. The flavours were exquisite and the pricing was fair. This is a must visit for a very enjoyable dining experience in malaysian-chinese cuisine."

"Seeing reviews here saying this is the best Chinese restaurant....I finally decided to venture here and see if it lived up to the hype of some reviews. We had a 6am booking for 2, we arrived early and were the first people. Tables were a little small, as we tend to order a lot when in an Asian restaurant, but they brought the dishes out in a good order (used to everything at once. Small but well thought out wine list. We had the Albarino which went very well with the meal. We had the scallop and prawn dumplings and the daily dumplings (chicken and corn) and the egg white omelette with blue swimmer crab (it took a little while to realise it was crab very subtle and delicate well worth trying) and the ground pepper was a well balanced seasoning. The dumplings were great flavoursome and you could taste the various main ingredients. The tofu with sugar snap, pumpkin and zucchini hit the spot it is among the best tofu I have ever had (I always order a tofu dish to see how such a simple ingredient can be presented). The Crispy beef stripes was also among some of the best I have ever had tender beef, not tough and hard and we hat the fat boy chicken (one of the specials of the day) it was in a friend spicy batter. It looked and average it was AMAZING full of flavour (often chicken has little or no flavour and relies on seasoning/sauces), it tasted like chicken, it was moist, tender, it was AMAZING. There was a typo on the menu 'spatchcock ' it is a technique (not an ingredient)that means it has had the spine removed etc it should have been referred to as 'spatchedcock. 'Remember that this area of Sydney has some of the highest per square meter population density and this restaurant caters to that market people with small kitchens who don 't want to cook and I think this works very well with the market it is targeting.Certainly among the better Chinese meal that I have had and well worth it. And I do agree with some of the other reviews that the staff are a little in your face but better than not being there at all."

"I visited the Darlinghurst restaurant on a Friday night in July with my husband and adult daughter. Phoned just before and made a booking no probs. The staff were very pleasant and the food lovely. Made the initial order and once that was finished we ordered a bit more. Very reasonably priced. We were staying near Hyde park and just walked down."

"After searching months for a private dining room for my sister's Hens, I was reccomened The Crane Bar. I've never been here before and was very excited and looking forward to a great night out. The venue looks great and perfect for our event.
But sadly last night, I experienced one of the worst let downs in Hospitality.
Event manager Chris took my booking for a group of 10 for the private room in The Forbidden Fortress weeks ago.
He assured me through an email, my booking was confirmed and I can have the private room.
I left him numerous of messages and emails requesting for him to get back with me regarding deposits and final numbers. A week later and not hearing anything back from him I called the venue twice to confirm my booking. I spoke to another manager, Kirstie who assured me both times that my booking was booked and I had nothing to worry about.
On the night of our very special event I was confronted by another manager Vicky saying I cannot have the private room because the owners have decided to have a meeting in there. She blamed everything on Chris and mentioned he always does this and he was suppose to let me know my booking had been cancelled. I later checked my emails and found an email from Chris hours before my event to tell me the owners have decided to give the room to their regulars. Everyone was blaming each other. This is very unprofessional.
In my 20 years in hospitality I have never witnessed such incompetence from any establishment.
They wanted to offer us a seat outside and expected us to be happy with a free round of cocktails. Out of principle we left and spent our money elsewhere.
No body ever tried to call me to let me know my booking for the private room was cancelled.
A cancellation email hours before a booking of 10 people on a Saturday night is extreamely inconsiderate, unacceptable and unprofessional. I will never spend a cent in this establishment.
It's a shame because this is a nice venue but the people who runs it are unprofessional."

"Omakase shimasu. I must say, this set up reminds me my experience in Osaka. Typical 5-8 setup, very warm and dedicated food experience that one can enjoy alone, or with small group. Guided by one of the best Sushi Chef Kazu. Funny and expert in his sushi creations. Each delicacy matched with flavoursome Sake that compliments each and every bite. 8pcs and then extended to 12pcs sushi bonanza. 3 different Sake. It was an experience for a King. The experience is not just the food. It’s like meeting an old friend you haven’t seen in years."
