We enjoyed the experience with four of us able to share a variety of entrees and mains. The food was well presented and delicious. The Potts Point district has an old world charm, and proximity to Kings Cross gives this location a vitality. Easy to access by public transport, near train station. The service was very friendly and there was a lovely cosmopolitan ambience. View all feedback.
What Lee H doesn't like about LL Wine & Dine:
Have been here a few times. Done the $30 yum cha on a Sunday and they are standard dumplings. Host says they’re standard bag ones. Tried the a la carte menu last visit and was annoyingly disappointed. Duck pancakes dish had the pancakes dried around the edges, therefore couldn’t eat pancake. Had the crying tiger where the cut was chewy, over cooked and really a poor cut of beef. The tuna was also overcooked although... View all feedback.
Female waitress was sour, full of attitude, so much so, we leave before ordering our meal. This is a lovely vibrant spot in Potts Point, bitterly disappointed, as the food is probably beautiful.
It was a cool evening in May and the atmosphere in the lane way was good. We dinned on 2 entrees and 2 mains and a few glasses of wine. We chose the soft shell crab and the chicken san chow boa. The pick was the San Chow boa fresh lettuce and good flavour and the serving was generous. The meal wasn't complicated but enjoyable and change from tradition pork/veal. The crab was a bit bland, admittedly not the season for fresh soft shells it could have had a bit more spices to help it along. The house Chardonnay was enjoyable and went well with the dishes. For mains we went for heavier dishes crispy pork belly and slow cooked beef cheeks. The serving portions were generous and I was excited. The beef cheeks were soft, tender and glutinous but unfortunately it lacked good flavour. The odd piece of carrot tasted boiled and disappointed. The first piece of pork was so dry I don't know what they did with it to be grisly and uneatable. I tried another piece and this was better but still unfulfilling. On hindsight I should have mentioned it. A major upside was the friendly staff who looked after us and was attentive. We have eaten at LL before and the food was good but this meal Fell Short. It may have been a bad night but as it was a Friday night and not overly busy it should have been better.
We enjoyed our dinner of dumplings and san choy bow here recently. Food was tasty and servings generous. Would recommend for casual night out.

Dined here solo with an EatClub voucher. Sometimes with these discount deals the service seems a bit stilted, but definitely not the case here! The two waitresses looking after me were friendly and attentive, and at one point a cheery chef popped out to ask how I was enjoying my meal. Ordered the chicken massaman curry with rice, which was absolutely delicious plus the serving was so big the leftovers became the next days lunch. It would have been good value even without a discount. A really great atmosphere too it was filling up nicely at 7.30pm with music playing at just the right level not to interfere with conversation. Definitely returning!
