"Ordered nachos and without sounding cruel I wouldn’t feed my dogs it. I firstly ordered the plain nachos but when I got them I could see oil seeping out of the site- on closer inspection I could see the bowl filled with what I assumed was there “chilli” The homemade tortilla chips chips were disgusting- if your going to fry your own chips, the oil needs to be hot enough so that the chips don’t soak every drop of oil in the pan and once cooked they need to be drained properly. Also the Mac n Cheese we ordered cake with raw garlic bread and to make matters worse no one could figure out how to get the card machine to work"

"I was fortunate enough to be given a voucher to visit this restaurant. I can honestly say I wasn’t disappointed. Despite being an almost local restaurant, I had never visited before this visit. On entering I was pleasantly surprised by the layout of the restaurant....It’s not the biggest of places, but I suspect it can handle around customers, over a mix of seat booths and person tables. The decor is simple and adds to the atmosphere of the premises. We were met at the entrance by the waitress on duty, she was immediately very friendly, took our details and temperature’s. We were then led to one of the booths which are very good for couples. The menu has a mix of meat dishes, pasta dishes and fish dishes, plus starters. The selection of choices is of perfect size. The waitress (I am sorry not to remember her name) also talked through the specials available. I don’t want to go to deeply into what we ordered, but I can highly recommend the lobster ravioli . Our entire order of starters, mains and desserts were wonderful, my partner recommends the chefs own made tiramisu. There is also a really nice wine menu available. Stefanos is definitely well worth a visit, and we will definitely be returning. My thanks to Stef, chef and owner, who made us a wonderful meal and also took the time to leave the kitchen to come over and speak with us. And also many thanks to our waitress who was simply wonderful."

"Food was d'lish! Waited slightly longer than we thought but well worth it. Beef was so tender, beef to veg ratio was perfect. sometimes places pack it full of veg to make it look bigger) spring rolls didn't fall apart at the first bite and the Ribs were so meaty. Look forward to my next Jimmy Wans!"

"Didn't like my order been a regular customer for ten years, partially overbooked and bland contacted and was transferred to what I only can assume was the owner what a arrogant man refused to believe my claims I wanted to return food uneaten which he agreed to before implying I was a liar never again, shocking customer service"

"Had a midweek lunch here. No booking, but no problem. Parking IS a bit difficult. On street parking is not practicable. A wee car park across the road was almost full, but we managed to squeeze in to the last available space. Had seen good reviews on Google and was not disappointed. Ambience and service was smart, polite and efficient. Food quality amazing! So good! Reviews I read said it was quite expensive and, indeed, it IS on the higher end of the price bracket but, I think, justifiably so certainly a two course lunchtime menu for less than £13 not too bad at all. The whole place was very, very clean, including the toilets. Was driving today, so I couldn 't drink wine, but my wife 's glass of same looked fabulous and, apparently, tasted the same. As Arnold Schwarzenegger says I 'll be back!"

"Super dog and friendly pub with a gourmet style menu as well as a simple lunch time choice. the staff was warm and friendly and the food was excellent. would definitely recommend as a stop or a meal if your camping site is located."
