"Absolutely wonderful eating, we were pleasantly surprised at our first visit. I had thai and my husband had Indian dishes and we both thought that was very delicious. my red Thai chicken curry was one of the best I ever had. the service was also good and everything is immaculately clean. we will definitely be back when in henley."

"The outside area and the cabins are well done. useful as a parking lot (as long as you can get a park in the neighboring city parking). in the inner also looked good. the ribs were very good and in the Tuesday with a drink, because were such a good piece. the personal (georgie) was friendly and helpful."

"Stopped for lunch on a nice day during the week. Sat outside out the back. The place had a really nice vibe to it. Staff were mostly really friendly except one miserable chef who grunted at me when I said hello. The food was ok....Chips in chicken gravy was amazing. The buffalo chicken wings a bit dry….but my burger was burnt. Bad form that. I bet it was the miserable chef "

"Had not visited for a while but excellent food. Seated quickly by a very pleasant young lady, drinks order taken and quickly served. The special' pan fried sea bream looked very appetizing and substantial portion....daughter scoffed the lot; my wife had the half lobster which...she said was very good and tasty and I had the fish and chips...always a good test....batter very good (perhaps fish portion could have been larger) but good and hot with chips and good tartare sauce. All three of us no need to cook an evening meal. Friendly and pleasant staff who were attentive asking during the meal if everything OK and thanked us for coming when bill time came. Not the cheapest pub around but great value for money....which is what you want. We shall return Try it out for yourself if you live in the Henley, Sonning Common area and support a good pub."
