"Slow service even though restaurant not busy. Eye contact very difficult to make. Lamb dish was poor fatty and not much meat for £20. Aubergine dish much nicer though."

"Great little sandwich connection. my daughter and I felt like a sandwich, so we did a Google search and garrett has appeared, so we thought we would try. So, one. it is little, a few of about 5 two tops, 2 four and then a little counter surface. looks like it is here forever and part of the historic building of richmond. our waiter was quite out of place, although he served all, but the counter. I have the mlt and my daughter have the blt. she asked for no mayo, but it came with our waiter was pretty fast to fix it. my daughter loved the pal. my mum was okay. either the meat dew was not very tasteful or the flavor simply hide the taste. it wasn't bad, just bland, blah. Now the homemade pickles kicked! the sandwichs were pretty big. we also have a piece of funetti cake and mixed berry cake. again my daughter loved the cake and saw another person who pushes down so sure it was good. the cake was also quite delicious, it could even better warm and a puppy pepper with a whipped cream top. overall was a good experience. they had a huge selection, so I could certainly find something I would be a little better. I'm going back to the finals."

"Beautiful quiet restaurant / mid pubweek meal from me and my fiancée first time and what a fantastic place to beautiful friendly staff very welcoming and courteous eating was 110% absolutely delicious so delicious all three courses really good sizes for value for money and very well presented to nice warm cozy please yourself aswell very recommend it to everyone, we will certainly again be great place for a proper delicious meal!"

"This is a beautiful late 15. century class ii listed wood framed pub, so has pockets of character and a beautiful relaxed atmosphere. the staff is super friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious, beautifully presented and hearty portions. I had fish and chips and the two cooked chips were the most crispy, fluffy, tasty chips I ever had! after a day in the sunshine we sat inside and soak up the atmosphere, but there is also a large beer garden outside, which was still in the warm April sunshine. we will definitely be back!"
