"The worst experience! After our waiter told us that it was the house specialty two of us ordered the calf skirt. It was dry and overhauled. Our mistake not to ask the price! The bill came and it was $95,90 for the two! Definitely not worth it! Then when we paid the bill that we asked the tip wrong (our mistake!, and the water came back to our table very annoyed, what was the thing with the service? We said it was good, then he threw the bill on the table and said it was worth more than 10%! We apologized, said we understood it wrong, and he stole it! Then when we recalculated, he comes back to the table with his phone and tells us what the tip should be! We should have just got up and go, but we've changed the tip? he didn't get 20%!! Will NIE go back! Since then we have heard from many people who said they will never go back! How we miss the village of Tavern!"

"Giovanni is a great cook and treated us like italian royalty. Our entrees were fresh and the portions large and delicious. Our waiter Vinny was so amazing! He really impressed us with his knowledge of the various specials and specifics of the cuisine. We loved how he made each of us feel special by remembering what we ordered! Our group had 12 ladies celebrating a birthday. The entertainer, Chris Darin made it a perfect night. We are going back soon."
