"Asked for one thing to be changed on a dish no chillies response from waiter was can 't you just chose something else it be easier I don 't see this as a big problem when food is made to order. (I 've worked in restaurants and it was never a big deal) It soured that start of the celebratory meal we had gone for. Fortunately food was good even though it was nearly thrown all over me, but can get same else where for cheaper it 's nothing special. We asked for shoe string fries and got normal fries. They stated that they are shoe string but nothing like the shoe string ones had before anywhere else. Image included of what arrived and what was expected."

"We visited a function display and stayed overnight. the pub itself is pleasant and the beer is good, with a few decent designs biere from elland on hahn. the staff was helpful and friendly. we enjoyed our time in the function often function. rooms can be poorly located, but this is served by a private bar and facilities so great for a private party. we were in the room the rooms are not large and there is a little lärm leak between the rooms, but they are perfectly equipped and comfortable. we could not ask for the money. the breakfast was included in the room price and was very good. many of the choice, served fast and good quality."

"Brilliant Italian restaurant. Absolutely loved our meal. Ate here yesterday with my other half and have to say I think I have now found my new favourite restaurant. I had the belly pork for starter spicey king prawn tagliatelle for my main and both were fantastic. He had pate the penne stroganoff and demolished both!! The service from all the staff is fantastic and we even had a comedy moment when the 'lecky ' went off the chef went outside to bring it back on lol! We will deffo be popping back here sometime very soon. 10/10"

"I saw an article on Facebook about The Winterburn as it had won an award for having the best view in West Yorkshire so I took my fiancée for her birthday meal. The road there is a little country road so is a bit tight...if you meet another vehicle, once you get there there's a car park at the rear with a decent amount of room to park. On the way in you can really take in the views. We were shown to our table by a friendly guy that took our drinks order and told us about the specials etc. The views out of the window were fantastic. The food was beautiful too, we had Korean bao buns which are fried chicken in a fluffy bao bun with a delicious spicy sauce, carrot spring onions. Then we had beef kofta that came with a lovely fragrant rice and some nice garlic flatbreads that seemed homemade. I had fudge cake for dessert which was vegan but I wouldn't know if I hadn't noticed on the menu. They also brought my fiancée out a blob of ice cream in a brandy snap with a candle in it for her birthday which was a nice touch. It was very reasonably priced at just over and I would highly recommend anyone to visit. I just wish it was a bit closer than a minute drive!"

"Bardolinos was a first time visit from us and pretty much spot on food and service wise. Whilst not totally full for a smallish restaurant, they were fairly busy. Booking in advance is I would imagine strongly recommended. Our party consisted of 7 of us for an adult family reunion meal just after Christmas. Everyone very much enjoyed their meals with no complaints or concerns. The dinner menu is varied enough to please most diets and palates although there were a couple of dishes unavailable on the night. The 2 staff were attentive and gave great table service. The only let down for us, having booked the table for 5.45pm was that without any warning and before we had a chance for deserts, we were politely asked to vacate our table at 8.15pm so that another party of 10 could be accommodated before their weekday closing time of 9pm. This was a shame but otherwise much to be credited to this Italian style establishment and we would definitely pay a return visit on a similar occasion."
