"We keep coming back because the restaurant has a fun and vibrant energy about it. The bar and food are good. The service is ok but I don't think I'd say the restaurant has “good service”. It was good last night but the service can be spotty, sometimes good and sometimes lacking. For food, the chicken curry is consistently excellent. We'll go back."

"We came here to an impromptu evening dinner, and although we had not reserved ourselves, they adapted us to an outdoor table in less than ten minutes. Andi must say I had the best seafood risotto I've ever eaten! You have a great menu and the staff is friendly. Would recommend!"

"We went by to eat with some friends who were visited from the city. We were very lucky to get a reservation at 19:15, although we called in the last minute. The selection of foods was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Service was fast and friendly. the wine selection is excellent."

"Get the short ribs. I loved this place. Super friendly and funny staff who obviously care about what they do. Reasonably priced (especially for Carmel) and absolutely delicious food. I'd come back here again if I weren't leaving tomorrow... Seriously; get the short ribs."

"I have tried many restaurants in Carmel for lunch and this is the best one by far!! My husband and I shared a salad and cioppino. The food was delicious, fish was fresh, and the portions were generous. The waitstaff were excellent and checked in with us frequently. The restaurant was full on a Tuesday which says something about the popularity. Bread with oil and vinegar was brought as a starter. A complimentary small baklava was brought after the meal. As we walked to the beach I encouraged a couple considering a nearby restaurant to go to Dametra’s. There is a 3.5% charge to use a credit card so we paid in cash."
