"We booked this for a birthday meal, we arrived early but they showed us to our table straight away, the menu was quite extensive, the food was delicious my wife and I had the scallops to start which were beautiful a piece of bread would have been nice to soak up the delicious sauce, will definitely be returning"

"We attempted to get a table on a Saturday night but the place was totally booked up, therefore we opted for take out as other pizza places in Lichfield were rated lower on TA. We tried a range of styles from vegetarian to bolognese. Toppings were quite ample but the quality of the pizza bases seemed fairly average compared to a real Italian place. Not air filled, or thin and crunchy. Maybe in the UK this is the preferred style not sure. In general the view was this could have been better."

"On Saturday for lunch, just as they opened. very friendly welcome, many options for eating, partner has the steak and ale cake and it was huge! daughter and I had baguettes, we had all the right house made chips that were amazing. the best we had before. it was nice when we were so likely to be best to maintain, even though they pushed us into such an attempt anyway. we would definitely recommend."

"Fabulous lunch.....cannot fault it!!! We went Saturday lunch with my family and we were welcomed by the staff and shown to our table. Nothing was too much trouble for the man, who had to return to take our order several times as we were too...busy nattering!!! There was no rush, and he was vvv friendly and chatty. We ordered the mains, which arrived promptly and were truly delicious. Very good portion sizes, and we struggled to finish the food. Finished off with a liqueur coffee, the perfect end to a delicious meal!! We will be back...xx"
