"Stayed here with 3 friends as part of a weekend away. Loved it. Room was spacious and well presented and the extra touches such as homemade banana bread on arrival and proper milk to have with tea and coffee in the room were really appreciated. The food was amazing, we all ended up having 3 courses and every course was outstanding. Great service too. Thanks to all the team."

"A very friendly and caring waiting staff. The food was absolutely delicious, with generous portion sizes. Fabulous ales and beers we were staying locally so tried a different one each night. We enjoyed the first evening here we didn’t bother going anywhere else for the rest of our holiday!"

"We had been to another pub near here whose kitchen we discovered shut at 7.45pm! As it was a birthday celebration and we had 6 people and 4 dogs, we were wary who could have us. The Clanfield Tavern were extremely accommodating, lovely hosts and served us a delicious meal even though they had 50plus bikers visiting that evening, unlike the other riverside pub down the road, they were extremely accommodating and we will definitely be returning"
