"Came here with business colleagues. The salads are fresh and amazing. Pizza cooked to perfection as was the steak. The service was great. Food came out at same time and all was piping hot. Highly recommend the pizza and steak, delicious as great atmosphere"

"Food was OK service was lacking and older lady w short hair serving was very abrupt potentially rude. Walked in told we could sit at front or left, when I pointed to a table and asked this one lady snapped back I said tables on...left. Germans are direct and English isn’t her first language so I just ignored the abrupt manner. Next she gave us menus and said it’s cash only no card. Menu looked like good German fare so we stayed. After we ordered there were young Asian men sitting a table away. As this older lady came to pick up their plates she told one of the guys off as he used the paper serviette to wipe his mouth then nose and told him to take the serviette off the plate and put it in his pocket, again abruptly, as she would not take it in the kitchen. Then as she walked away she said some derogatory things in German, and as I lived a few years here I understood these which weren’t very nice. I found this whole experience very off putting and would suggest going elsewhere. It made the atmosphere not nice so we didn’t enjoy our meal as we were on edge."

"We were on recommendation here and were not disappointed! my man ordered the steak and I had the carving. both meals were huge, but delicious. the carving came with a gurkensalat in a kind of sour cream, bratkartoffeln with thorny and cut-off and a small price-beer supplement. the steak of my manne was very delicate and tasty - it came with a large piece of garlic and crimped butter and pommes. the service was efficient, nothing unusual but friendly. the place was full while we were there, and many tables were reserved? it is a very humble place, but worth a visit!"
