"If you like processed chicken and something more expensive then Tim Hortans go here! Pregnant can?t eat processed meat. WAS SOOOO LOOKING FORWARD TO THIS PLACE!! Didn?t realize it was processed or to even ask since it said ?grilled chicken breast?. Figured with those prices it would be at least REAL chicken? garbage. Threw the whole thing out and yeah they never did anything just stared at me when I said I can?t eat it cuz I?m pregnant lol.. not the employees fault."

"Zia's in Summerland has a warm and comfortable feel of a traditional Italian restaurant. One of our party was Italian and very particular, but the food passed with flying colours. The food is excellent, the service also top-notch. We had Penne Aviana, Beef and Cheese,...Minestrone Prawns and Roast Beef Au Jus All these dishes were very tasty and everyone cleared their plates. If you are within miles go to this place."

"We had some problems with our visit. first I ordered a moimosa- the menu says 4oz champagner. it was served in a 6oz glass and was mostly juice. Being generous, I'd say I had two ounces of champagne. I ordered perogy and...Egg plate. the perogies were bought and cut. but the worst was to find a hair that was enlisted on one of them. sooo rough, careless and the waitress rolled her eyes when I told her. my man ordered an omelette, which looked beautiful, full of ingredients on the menu, but when he received it, it was flat and unobstructed with hardly any ingredients inside. his pancakes were salty. then we waited for the old to pay our bill, at the end go to the counter. they just don't worry, there are many better places to get their food."

"A really good local pub on a side street, out of the way of the main strip and strangely named "The Frog and Nightgown Public House and Liquor Store". What a mouthful! But what you put in your mouth once you get there is delicious. They have typical pub food, like fish 'n chips, wings and nachos. They also offer tempting specilaities like Thai Chili Chicken, Yam fries & Chipotle dip, Crab & Prawn Penne. The menu is so large, and so varied, you would have to eat here every day for about a month and a half to get through it. Everything we have tried over numerous visits has been delicious. The fish 'n chips, the Creole Rice Bowl, the potato skins, the Italian Melt sandwich... my mouth is watering just writng this., We drank of course, and it was good. They have the usual assortment of beverages plus some funnily named specilaty drinks. They also name hteir specials very creatively. I get a kick out of "We Hate Mondays" and Tuesday is "Drink Your Dad's Beer" day with domestic draught Beer only $4.25 (Canadian, Coors, Budweiser, Moosehead) They have $2 Tacos All Day long as well and plenty of other incentives to get in there and partake,The atmosphere is real pub style, with booths and worn wooden tables and dim lighting (but not dingy) The staff is friendly and accomodating."

"Okay, as I have noted previously, I am not a fan of the buffet experience at the best of times, but I have family members who are- so occasionally, I have to digress into the world of the all you can eat trough. This facility...is a 3 dressed up like a 4 (yes, not a 9 . The restaurant is cleverly laid out to prevent customers from seeing exactly how limited the food offerings are- the hot and cold food tables are contained in an alcove-like side room. Basically, you can 't see what you got yourself into until it 's too late. The food itself managed to underachieve even on my already low expectation scale. Pedestrian at best, the food is industrially prepared en bulk. Struggling to find something positive to say, the sunflower seeds on the salad bar weren 't bad. I can say that at least they weren 't completely gouging us on the price- this was supposed to be Specialty Night but the Southern BBQ was only vaguely reflected in some tasteless tiny pork ribs and cornmeal(ish muffins. New Orleans has nothing to worry about. At just under $20 a person- a similarly priced meal just about anywhere else would have been a better investment. The place preys upon gamblers who don 't want to leave the building in order to re-fuel. My advice: leave the building and buy a scratch ticket."

"Located right in the centre of Burquitlam, the setting and atmosphere are nice, with an ample dining room overlooking the shopping mall (as good as it can get in the area !). Service is fast, efficient, attentive, and overall, extremely friendly. The place is ran by two Korean brothers and their family, and they regularly come to greet diners and seek feedback, making them feel welcome. The menu includes lots of nigiri, maki, and sashimi, as well as a range of Japanese appetizers, udon, teppanyaki, tempura, and grilled fish and meat. A complimentary surprise appetizer as well as green tea and fruit are offered to all diners. Prices are cheap even for Canadian standards, and moreover, no tips are expected."
