"Ok, while strolling back to our hotel (Grand Plaza Kensington) we thought we would just stop somewhere for a quick bite. To our surprise, many things looked quite good so we ordered a few small dishes and wine. Ther food turned out to be some of the best we had in London, Our absolute favorite was the Rissoto with mushrooms, be everything else was just wonderful. Once again, this was a very reasonable cost restaurant that was better than most we encountered around the city."

"We arrived on a Sunday at 5 pm as the kitchen closed down for an hour, but we decided to wait having a beer. And luckily we did, we had their version of fish and chips and it was unbelievable delicious. The fish crunchy yet juicy inside, the chips were rustic and tasty, the sauces really good. Their Sunday menu was very interesting, I decided for the fish and chips but they had lot's of tasty sounding options, ie roasts. Nice and friendly staff, can highly recommend this place for beers and food !"

"Attended a private function in the bar upstairs. The vibe was good the staff was pleasant. The bar upstairs did not have the same selection of drinks as downstairs bar, which was understandable, but was baffled the staff could not get a Wine cooler or even extra bottles of wine from the downstairs bar and sent the guests to get their own. Otherwise lovely selection of food and generally a great evening."
