"I recently ate here with my family after my parents raved about this restaurant and the food.We went for a buffet dinner on a Saturday night. The place became quite full and everyone appeared to be happy,There was a good selection of food with various dishes for everyone's tastes. The salad bar itself could easily be a meal without even going for the hot foods.The only downside is we had the table right beside the DJ booth. The music was great for the first portion of the evening but when the belly dancing started the volume was unbearable... On my decibel app on my phone it was over 95 DB (harmful actually). You could not hold a conversation and it was really disturbing. We ended up leaving soon after the belly dancing started which was a shame as it appeared to be in good humour."

"First time, thought this place was too rich for my blood. found out it wasn't. Great decor, great food, clean and washrooms are impressive to say the least.Has a an elevator device to bring wheelchairs up to the upper floor.don't be fooled by the outside, it is awesome insideThe only criticism I might have is the food isn't hot, hot. could be hotter."

"I've never been to a more unprofessional restaurant in my life. I placed an order and asked for extra of something. I was not told there would be any additional charge. It is ALWAYS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WAITER/WAITRESS to inform a customer of any...extra charges. When I disputed the charge on the bill as I was not informed, the waitress informed me that I DID know about the charge. She simply assumed that since I have eaten the same meal there many times in the past, I MUST HAVE KNOWN? Well guess what, read on and you'll see why I'm writing this negative review. Next, some other waitress, with tattoos down her arms, STARTED USING THE F WORD, RIGHT OUT LOUD IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS WHO WERE EATING RIGHT BESIDE HER! FILTHY MOUTH WAITRESS WITH TATTOOS, REALLY NICE PLACE!If you want to be treated with respect, stay away from this place that only hires miserable, petty, gossiping waitresses who feel they are too seasoned to show a modicum of respect to their customers. How difficult is it to tell a customer that there is an extra charge, when they order extra of something?The waitresses here don't own up to their behaviour, instead they have the NERVE to tell a customer THAT THE CUSTOMER ALREADY KNEW ABOUT THE EXTRA CHARGE, To the incompetent, arrogant, lying waitress with psychic powers who served me, READ THIS:I've ordered the same exact meal many times at your location for YEARS. I do not recall EVER being charged for extra onions when I've placed my order, and NEVER was I ever told there was any extra charge. So I simply assumed they don't charge extra for some extra onions (not a full order of fried onions). After stating this repeatedly, Ms. foul-mouthed-tattoos-up-the-arms-waitress BOASTED that SHE DID CHARGE ME ONCE for extra onions! ONCE? ONCE IN ALL THE YEARS I'VE ORDERED EXTRA ONIONS I was charged, and I was supposed to KNOW that THIS TIME I'D BE CHARGED AND I WOULDN'T HAVE TO BE INFORMED EITHER! After USING THE F WORD at me in front of customers, and even with the owner from the kitchen trying to calm her down, MS FOUL-MOUTHED WAITRESS WITH TATTOOS DOWN HER ARMS TOLD ME I WAS BANNED FROM THEIR RESTAURANT. Avoid this location. The waitresses here are miserable, petty, gossipy, arrogant, rude, and will accuse you of knowing things you don't because they won't take responsibility for their own incompetence, when they have magical psychic abilities to know what you know and don't know, and when you speak up for yourself because they are clearly in the wrong, they will argue disrespectfully with you and then ban you from the restaurant instead of apologizing and admitting they were wrong not to tell you of any extra charges at the time of your order. They have no respect for human beings and should not be in the hospitality industry with their attitudes and mental issues. Wimpy's on Sheppard Ave. W, you just lost TONS of regular customers, all of my family and friends who are all local to you will now never set foot in there again because of your unprofessionalism and complete and utter disrespect for your long-time customers. And to the owner of this location WHICH FEELS OPPRESSIVE AND DEPRESSING BECAUSE OF THE WAITRESSES WHO WORK THERE, I would seriously consider hiring younger waitresses who aren't jaded, have common sense, good manners, and don't argue and shame their regular customers when THEY are in the wrong. Your seasoned waitresses especially need to GO, they make no effort to be professional and they DENY their MOST FUNDAMENTAL responsibilities as waitresses TO ALWAYS INFORM CUSTOMERS OF EXTRA CHARGES!"

"I have been here 3 times and tried three different meals. I see that the menu has changed a lot, so my review might be outdated. I don't recall seeing such an extensive steak menu in the past.I have had the Waygu hot dog (I had to buy a side separately) and the classic cheeseburger. I had another type hot dog before, but I don't recall what it was. I don't see any hotdogs on the menu anymore.The beef was tasty and well seasoned, but the sides are generally greasy and not always salted. There were several toppings available to choose from. I have had the hand-cut fries and onion rings. I did not care for the service. When I went, you had to come to the counter to pick up your food. For those prices, they should be coming to me.My biggest complaint is the lack of seating and the quality of seats. The seats were not comfortable and you stick to them in the summer. Outside, there is no real shade on the terrace and there are bees all over. What really turned me off was that there were a few customers smoking on the side terrace. I asked the waitress to tell them to stop, and she was reluctant to do so. When I noted that 1) it was the law and 2) it was an irony that a restaurant and line that was created to assist the owner's wife who had cancer did not seem to care if their customers were exposed to second hand smoke, she got the message and asked them to stop smoking. When I went, there was only one washroom. You had to line up and wait.While the desserts looked good, at the time, they were overpriced. Now, they are in line with dessert prices and most Toronto restaurants.I am willing to try again since I know the beef is very good and it seems that the food and the service have improved based on more recent reviews. The prices also seem more reasonable now."

"Amanda our server was very gracious on our arrival. We were just testing out their wings after all. However we found the bar ready to take on a large crowd. There were just a few regulars on a hockey night. We ordered our drinks, I can speak for the Muskoka cream ale draft it was served cold and was very refreshing also no wait for it to arrive at the table. The Greek salad has a light dressing, not to oily and a good selection of ingredients. We ordered both mild and hot wings with fries which were crisp the wings were large and tasty plus the light breading was just that. Nothing was over done in anyway. The traditional wings have nice dry skins and not at all greasy. Both flavours were pleasant and definitely will be on the table at our next visit. I can't say anything negative about the service our server Amanda checked up on us regularly through the meal, and was timely for refreshing our drinks. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends as a local restaurant. It's now on my list, see you soon at The Mill."

"If you want to stay safe during the pandemic this is the safest restaurant to choose. Masks have to be worn any time you leave the table, disposable gloves are provided for the buffet, hand sanitizer in each room, cutlery comes to the table in a sealed plastic bag for each person, tables and chairs are sanitized after each guest. If this isn't enough the Atmosphere, Food, Service, and Hospitality also rate high marks. Thanks to the manager Serena, who makes sure everybody's visit there is an enjoyable one!"
