"Schön länger sehe ich die Weinstube beim morgendlichen Vorbeifahren und habe sie endlich am Abend mit meinem Mann ausprobiert. Wir waren zeitig dran und wurden von der Bedienung sehr herzlich begrüßt. Wir hatten Zeit, die Räumlichkeiten und die Speisekarte zu studieren und einen leckeren Wein zu bestellen. Wir haben uns für den Rostbraten entschieden und waren nicht enttäuscht. Ein tolles Fleisch und eine tolle Zubereitung, dickes Lob. So nach und nach füllte sich die Gaststube. Wir werden auf jeden Fall kommen und freuen uns schon, wenn draußen aufgestuhlt ist."

"This is where we take any visitors for a good German meal. In the winter it is inside, in the summer it is in the Biergarten. We have found nothing on the menu that is not good. My particular favorite are the dinettes (flamkuchen) and my wife loves the soups and salads. However, do not miss the seasonal items. They change, but are always good. When the venison is available it is a sure winner. Don't miss out on the Berkel platter appetizer. In the winter, you have to make a reservation but in the summer, there always seems to be room in the biergarten. There are English menus available. The service is usually friendly and the staff very nice."
