"Biggest Christmas rip off of the year. For such a beautiful and prestigious venue what an utter disappointment. The food was awful. Worse than awful. It was a Set Menu, and an expensive one at that. We have been here a couple of times before and were blown away in the past. We were spending Christmas 2022 in Cabo, which is why we decided to return for Xmas Eve dinner. We even sold our travel friends on this place. What an embarrassment. The cod and clams course you could smell coming across the restaurant. The roasted New York steak, you could not chew. Tough and tasteless rubber. Not even the 3 kids aged 4-6 would eat the “steak”. Unacceptable with a price tag of $150 US$/person and $70/US$ YES $70! For kids. The service however was stellar. Someone was always an arms length away. This hotel is breathtaking to be fair. So if you are looking for ambience this is the place. Let’s deduce this to the set menu. I hope that’s why the food was so terrible."

"We enjoyed our dinner at DOC. There is a large wine list that had a nice selection. Service was really good. We had a Caprice salad with excellent home made bread and then a pasta with Arribiata sauce that was delicious. The stand out dish...for us was the chicken breast stuffed with mushrooms in a pink peppercorn sauce. It was so good! The only dessert they had was tiramisu which is not something that either of us like so we did not have dessert. We called for an Uber and the driver was sending messages in Spanish that we could not understand. I went back into the restaurant and one of the waiters was very helpful and sent the driver a response for us. He hadn’t even been our waiter. I highly recommend this restaurant."
