"It is just a take-away and we know that. We have bought meals to take home on a number of occasions however we were extremely disappointed with our last purchase - and likely to be the last too! We were there very early in the evening, around 5.45 pm, and would have expected the food to be fresh. The samosas were rock hard and inedible and the meat in the vindaloo was also hard and I was unable to chew it. It was obvious that these dishes had been sitting around, under lights for way too long."

"Visited Ajs Indian Resturant 79a George st Launceston Tas Feb 13th .2019. Reunion with my family members from tas interstate after many years. Chef Ajay certainly made the atmosphere most welcoming with beautiful tables set up with colourful balloons candles . We ordered individual meals , for 18 people , Ajs Signature dish Butter Chicken was very popular vegetarian Dishes, Lamb Rogan Josh , beef vindaloo, coconut prawn curry, followed by naan Breads , Basmati Rice , desert.. great selection of drinks from The Bar Amazing food From chef Ajay formerly from The Oberio Hotel Group Nothern india . Most enjoyable Evening thank you so much Ajs Indian Resturant."
