"What if told you there's a place where you can get soft shell crab smothered in chilli sauce and a fried mantou for $9? Sounds too good to be true. There's a catch this restaurant moves around. I'm referring to newest food truck to Sydney, Yang's Malaysian Food Truck. I had been salivating over the Instagram photos of Yang's soft shell crab for a few weeks now but it wasn't until last Tuesday that the food truck was within walking distance to my office. So, I set off for Hyde Park to satisfy my craving for some Malaysian street food."

"I work a few blocks from this place and I'm finding myself walking in the rain to fulfill my Asian cravings. Loving the mackerel laksa- full on flavor and scares off any sign of a hangover. CKT is pretty good and the roti is also handmade on the spot.Chicken rice is ok.They need to fix their lighting- something not right about it. Enjoy!"

"OK so we made the mistake of going in the early evening after the buzz of lunchtime hordes and, as a consequence, saw the place for what it is, a bit grotty in the appearance with a not so flash toilet. But who cares right?...What about the laksa. Well it looked right, but the broth hadn't been adequately heated and laksa has to be hot temperatures wise. Otherwise the broth achieved very good status, textured and flavoursome, but-no laksa leaf. Come on. If this had been hot and had laksa leaf, and evidence that prawn shells had been fried to make the stock it would have been very good to excellent. But the best laksa in Sydney, no."

"I came to this place for lunch with my family last week after a tour around Sydney. We wanted to eat Malaysian food so did a quick search on Google and this place had the highest review located in the CBD area. So I definitely wanted to try it out. <br>

Me and my family was greeted warmly by the owner of the restaurant. I knew what I was ordering but my dad and his brother were struggling what to order. But the owner came up to them and told them what is available to eat and what they should try. Since we came a bit late there was very little lunch left for us but there was enough to feed all 5 of us. I ordered the veg Thali plate with roti and the rest of my family ordered the non-veg Thali plate with rice. <br>

"Who would have thought I found my favorite roti in this hole in the wall lunch spot inside Wynyard Station. I loved it so much the first time after just trying out the roti, I got greedy on the second visit and ordered both roti (with small tub of curry sauce and chili paste) and beef rendang, all together was still under $15. It was a lot of food for me but I demolished it in an ultimate content and almost wanted to lick the plate! Everything was perfect from taste to texture, I couldn't fault it. Can't praise enough how tasty and moreish the curry sauce and beef rendang sauce were - full of flavor, creamy texture and well balanced. Why queuing up hours in Mamak when you can walk in here and get a decent meal under $10. Can't wait to go back again.
