"I was looking for a nice Indian restaurant for a family getaway when I landed on comments for Zaika, and was impressed by all the comments I read. It appeared to be THE one Indian restaurant you can’t missed in Montreal. Unfortunately, to my dismay, I was very disappointed. The service was good but the food was just ok. The ambiance was not extraordinary. As compared to other Indian restaurants in the vicinity of Montreal, I found it quite pricey!"

"I'm actually very happy this place still exists. It's a great authentic Indian restaurant in the heart of the Plateau. I see some of the bad comments on Tripadvisor, and I get it but perhaps the expectations are way too high. This is a place where two people can have dinner for 50$. They are literally serving very good Indian food for the price of a burger with fries at A&W. I also have to commend them for having proper spicy food, it's becoming rare these days in Montreal."
