"This place is one of the Izakaya bar in Toronto which is very famous in Japan.The interior of this place will make you feel that you are in Tokyo especially the tables at the back of the bar where you are sitting on the floor with your feet inside the opening underneath the table.We went there as a family celebrating my daughters birthday.It is a Saturday and the wait for the food to come is a little disappointment as it took forever but they were nice enough to apologize and gave us a couple of starters on the house.The food is great and mostly authentic,I know as I lived in Japan for 10 years.Overall,the experience is very nice!"

"It was probably bad timing, but when we walked in we woke up 3 guys sleeping on chairs in the restaurant. They were clearly embarrassed and we should have turned around and left. However, we had a long day and were tired and hungry so...we stayed. Our mistake. The service was terrible...the soup and tea were luke warm, I never got my rice etc. The sushi was average nothing to brag about. My daughter swallowed something hard but she was ok. Really, we were just too tired to say anything. On the way home she had bad stomach pains...not sure but hopefully not related to anything she ate. Very disappointing. Won't be back."

"I was a touch surprised by the weak quality of their food preparation. My expectations much have been a touch too high. That aside, my biggest issue was the lack of attention by our server to keep my drink topped up. When I did engage the waitresses, they took a while before they topped up my drinks (and even with a reminder on one occasion). Call me high maintenance, call me picky, call me unreasonable, but call me the guy who paid for my meal and that of my guests."

"What a lovely experience! The food is amazing, the people are wonderful. We spent a week in Canada and this is the place we will all return, not the food at CN Tower or Tim Hortons ? this place!! Good portions, excellent drinks, very cozy and beautiful decor."
