"Good Tasting Chicken Coconut Milk with Curry Sauce. This restaurant make very good and tasty Chicken Coconut Milk with Curry Sauce. I love the way they good they curry dishes including the Butter Chicken. The family is from Pakistan and they cook Indian style food also. I met the owners family. They are very friendly people. I love the home made Roti flat bread. Some of my friends are not use to spicy food and some of the menu item might be too hot and too spicy. I love hot and spicy food. I have Indian friends. I have eaten in their house and if you are not use to it, you might find it too hot and to spicy. <br/ <br/ I have friends who are born in northern part of the Philippines and they do not like hot and spicy foods like the southern part of the Philippines. Some people from Canada do not like Indian or hot and spicy food. I love Malaysian and Thai food. They are like the Southern Philippines food. In Southeast Asia, they like Coconut mix in to they food. Mirchi Indian Pakistani Restaurant knows how to mix coconut in to the food.<br/ <br/ The prices are fair and quality of the food is good. Some people might find it expansive, but it is not fast food. It is a small restaurant, but the service is very good."

"The buffet selection isn't the greatest but at a par with most other Indian buffets. To be truthful it's the Groupon offers that keeps bringing us back. Parking is always a challenge along the Broadway corridor but New India offers free off street parking on weekends and holidays as well as after 6:00 PM (enter the parkade from Willow Street. I must also say that Tony (owner) does a better job in maintaining freshness lately. Samosas (take out only) at available at $1.00 each."

"They are serious when it comes to their claim of the best butter chicken. This sauce is divine- I've actually not had it with the chicken, but rather with fish instead and it was delicious. Other dishes fairly standard but also good quality (eg pakora, naan). Haven't eaten in, only take out but it's definitely a Kitsilano favourite of ours!"

"We did a google search in our area and came up with this restaurant. We wanted to try a different Indian restaurant than we normally went to, we also didn't have our children that night whom won't eat Indian food. 'Cause Daddy Too Spicey'. We were with my sister in law however. We were happy with the food and the quality of it. It was a nice ambiance in the restaurant, and the fellow serving us was really friendly. The only thing we found was he was the only one serving, so while service was good and he was very attentive.. he got busy with other customers and we waited for a bit before we managed to pay to leave. I will without hesitation be coming back and recommending this restaurant to my friends. We did an assortment to share of food. Butter chicken, tandoori half a chicken, lamb biryani, bhindi (with okra), and an assortment of Naan and Rotti."
