"This place was SO good. Hands down my new favorite Japanese restaurant in the San Diego area. We had bento boxes (spicy teriyaki and chicken cutlet) and split an extra roll on the side. The food was great, the portions were huge, and the service was unbelievably speedy despite a packed house. Only negative is the mixed tempura was a little undercooked--I would recommend against choosing that with your bento. Street parking is scarce but there's a huge, free public lot less than a block away."

"After seeing some good reviews I had an opportunity check this place out. It was buzzing on a Friday night, but we scored a table right away. Service was attentive, menu was packed with special rolls, price was good and everything we ordered was delicious. The sushi nigiri was fresh and the portions were generous. I?m looking forward to returning soon."

"There are actually a few places to find Sushi in San Marcos, but I can rave over Kobe! We sat fast (10 minutes or so) and soon had an order. The meal came out perfect salads first, a few appetizers, and to share an overwhelming dish of sushi! Our waitress was also very attentive and very pleasant throughout our meal. We had a little confusion in the parking lot, and when we asked to talk to the manager, the staff and the manager took our worries very seriously about and about, food and service, safe."

"We had such a great time celebrating my friends birthday. It was my first time in this location, typically I go to the one in Vista. I got to try more rolls with a larger group an can recommend the Avatar Roll, Lemon Cilantro Roll, Sexy Roll, After Burner Roll.... shoot most of the rolls i tried were really good and the presentation was great too. Fun to come with friends or alone at the bar. Apparently the bar is not yet fully operational but they have great beer. The photo is of a custom roll: shrimp tempura inside, topped with tuna and mango and some spice. It was good"
