"I live local and just found this place come up as an indian resto. On entry was told bar was unavailable, no staff. The food menu was limited , the food on arrival was poor to average , notbing fresh , rice reheated, chapati heated and crusty. The price for 2 people was £50, utter rip off for the money.A glass of coke was £4 , again nlt fresh coke , straight out of already opened bottle. All in all a truly dissapointing experience. Avoid."

"Having a weekend break in Bristol and what a find this was. A great concept fine dining served in a casual chilled environment with great friendly service. I can’t eat certain foods. As.soon as mentioned it was taken seriously to extent that the chef marked on a menu every item I could safely eat as was , what I couldn’t, and which courses could be adapted for me. That was great service. My partner and both had roasts dinner. One lamb. One beef. The meats , plated with roast potatoes , sauce gravy and for the beef a Yorkshire pudding, were excellent as were the very generous portions of vegetables that were served alongside courgettes leeks carrots and cauliflower cheese). All veg was cooked as should be not over boiled etc. A slight criticism the sauce with the lamb was quite greasy glutenous. If came again I’d ask for it to be served separately and take less of it. For pudding we had a banana tart served thin and crispy with pistachio ice cream and a panacotta with rhubarb chunks. Both fabulous. At £25 for two courses it was exceptional value and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend."

"What a disappointment. Everything I ordered they'd run out of, and also some that my friends did too, even including the drink!! No pre-empt to this before choosing either so even more annoying to waste time . Main meal luke warm, veg undercooked. Service polite but incredibly slow, had to remind them we were there twice even though place was nearly empty. Took 3 hours to have a 2 course meal. Worst experience in a long time which is a shame as had read good things. Wasnt even offered a reduction or goodwill even though the waitress repeatedly acknowledged we had a bad lot! Very poor so can't recommend."

"Tasty food. Busy atmosphere can see your food being cooked as in most Zizzi restaurants. Service can be very slow maybe because there is not enought of them. Wine choice could be better. Advisable to book, especially at weekends and if a larger party."
