"We’re afternoon drinking people. However! We popped in for a pint on a Friday evening and ended up staying for the whole night there was live music from a group of 3 guitarists who were absolutely fabulous and got everyone joining in, but not so loud that you couldn’t still have a chat. Went back on a Saturday afternoon and ended up talking to a lovely local couple. Just really easy going, friendly, comfortable, cozy and doesn’t feel like one of those ‘big chain’ pubs!"

"Visited on a weekend trip from London. This restaurant is small but worth trying to book as the food was amazing. Served as small sharing plates with lots of local choice.Staff were friendly and helpful, even when asking where is else good to go in Broadstairs. The baked Alaska was fantastic"

"Very good . Superb dinner and excellent breakfast too. Service was faultless. The rooms are tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, spacious and have everything you need. I found the bed and pillows a bit firm but that's just personal taste my wife was perfectly happy. Really a very good hotel and an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area."

"Thank you for making my visit a very comfortable vegan stay. I hope neale doesn't wear up and down with breakfast. a train ticket with plusbus was a good value and let me travel cheaply to thanet. the guest house is located on the loop bus route, buses until late 7 days the week and is a short walk from the train station. the hornby and other muses were good, some hands on with a few young boys putting the trains and cars on the tracks there is a model train museum in brighton, but there has been a lot older model trains running. although broadstairs has no vegan places to eat, I visited cafe and shakey shakey in ramsgate. beach buoys in ramsgate and aqua 43 caffe, broadstairs had a beautiful vegan special, sweet tart, salat and new kartoffels. updated by previous rating on 2022 04 14"

"This is a great family-run restaurant. the food is excellent and everything was cooked to perfection. della and her daughter looked at us and we brilliantly looked with the gluten-free and milk-free versions of their menu points that are plentiful. the portions do not leave them hungry and the process is very reasonable. when we are back in broadstairs, we will visit again."
