"The good location of this institution makes it very popular for the guests of the city and for the local residents of the Apple Interrier, as it is positively charged positively. The kitchen's great (mostly national), the quality of the meal has been cancelled, and most importantly, there are very large pieces of food (we ordered fish and salad mix from seafood). And the wine map is not bad. It's normal, very friendly."

"It's 3.5 stars... I've had the "Halfer" today. It was delicious! it was missing that 'filipino taste ', although it is a Filipino dish....can be because the roasted rice was not that 'fried' and garlicky enough? Or maybe the pig was too dry? or perhaps because the lemongras chicken was not an authentic Filipino dish? The part was massive for the price you pay. Would I come back? I will probably try other things, but please improve the garlic fried rice. It was like steamed rice with garlic powder that was boiled in the morning. Seriously! and... what about all these baby pictures on the truck to the customers??? it makes the atmosphere a little cheap. You don't sell babies, do you? Give us more food pictures... the ones you actually sell."

"Dan is one of those restaurants that are barely noticeable from outside and concentrate high quality food and friendly personal service instead of enticing the customer with flashy interior. Staff is really attentive and quick. The menu changes along with availability of fresh ingredients but any dish I have tried was excellent. The atmosphere is very comfortable and simplistic with an open kitchen so you can watch the chef preparing your delicacies. This is definitely one of my favorites in Vancouver and positively sticks out in all its humbleness from all the flashy, "fast-food" Japanese restaurants around."

"Although this is a small and lively restaurant, the hostess is very friendly and attentive. We dined in and ordered pad Thai and green curry beef that both tasted delicious! We'll be back."

"We came here by accident yesterday when we were walking down Broadway in the heat. As soon as I glanced in, I knew we were in for a treat! The sashimi, though expensive, was delicious and super-fresh! The karage was AMAZING, with refreshing aoli. The miso rice balls were interesting, though not the highlight. Really glad we stopped by, we'll be back!"

"Had lunch today at Sprinklers Restaurant at Van Dusen Gardens with relatives. The setting is very nice. I had the chicken Pot pie which was hot but lacked vegetables and needed more chicken. My brother-in law had the seafood salad along with clam chowder soup which he said was very good. Other party had the burger with a nice thick patty and was, very good. Wife had a shrimp quesadilla which she enjoyed. All in all the food was good.Another benefit is that they have ample off street parking."

"I’ve always said, that the same thing that happened to Tesla needs to happen to veganism… Tesla made electric cars and electrification look and feel sexy. The same thing needs to ring true with veganism. I’m glad that establishments such as The Acorn, are here to elevate that cuisine and culture. Bravo for being pioneers. #first"
