"We had lunch and dinner here a few times, pork larb (minced pork salad) is always good, but don’t order it to be too spicy if you cannot handle spice, mild or medium will do just fine for most people I guess. "I came here because I was craving for Baumkuchen. It was pretty early for dinner so we enjoyed the quietness. The menu did not contain any pictures so we had no idea how big the portion would be. A friend and I ordered gyoza, soba, mix mushrooms and grilled salmon. The waiter came with huge plates every time : especially the grilled salmon, wait, three big slices of salmon I meant. We were really full even before we ordered the dessert. But Baumkuchen was the very first reason why we were there, so I ordered it anyway. And voila, only a few minutes later, a huge plate of Baumkuchen with two scoops of ice cream was served on our table. It was delish and maybe it would be a lot more enjoyable had I not eaten so much before :"

"Hidden away in the relatively new Bakery Lane precinct is this fabulous little Korean restaurant with a broad interesting menu ( unlike the many Korean chicken restaurants that are flourishing in Brisbane ).We both had the delicious bowl of Teriyaki Salmon on rice with salad all thrown together. The food looked great, very fresh and perfect for a late lunch. On a coolish day there are plenty of heaters to keep you warm in the courtyard.Reasonably priced and quick efficient service."

"Had a remarkable Sunday lunch at this place for quite a few months. Location is slightly off the main food precinct of James Street. Walked in and felt the cosy vibe. Service was sincere and hospitable. Ordered some tapas to share. First came the Chicken Alitas was too dried but the taste was good. The coconut prawns drew my memory of the coconut prawns that I had at Thai Orchard of Mt Gravatt. This Latin Fusion version did provide its character and they were delicious. Pork Belly was done perfectly without greasy meat but crunchy skin. Bay bugs with juiced meat definitely was the hero of the day. Overall, this restaurant is recommended"

"I was desperately looking for a place to get suahi from on my way home from the gym, this place looked a bit cheap so went in a bit sceptical and was about to turn just as a very lovely smiling man came running up to me happy to show me the menu, help me with all the bags I was carrying and offer me a seat both for me and my purse even though I was just getting take away. I didn't find what I was looking for on the menu (some fancey sushi rolls with fish) but the he assured me he could make whatever I wanted! And he did! I got three different personalised rolls (tuna,salmon and crab with different types of vegetables and even made them spicy as I mentioned I like). It was a lot of food, made excatly to me requirements and liking within 7min and fir only 13 dollars.I'm super pleased with both the personal service, prices and the excellent food. I've never had such exquisite service and personally made sushi in Brisbane before!I've had a lot of sushi in many different countries (only in Australia sushi seem for some reason to be mainly chicken(??)) And the combination, packing and quality was amazing!"
