"Nous avons débarqué un vendredi soir à 19h sans réservation : pas de problème la patronne nous fait visiter la dernière chambre disponible. Très bien tenue, extrêmement propre avec en prime un petit balcon qui nous offre une vue sur les sapins : on n'hésite pas une minute ! Nous en profitons pour manger au resto : c'est bon signe, il y a beaucoup de monde et la vue est très sympa ! Une excellente cuisine avec un super rapport qualité prix ! C'est sûr on y retournera cet hiver ! Je précise que nous ne parlons pas allemand, mais la patronne parle anglais : elle a été d'une gentillesse incroyable, on s'est vraiment senti très bien accueilli : alors n'hésitez pas, cet endroit est un petit bijou."

"We happened almost by chance and were greeted, as well as by the kind owner, also by the municipal band of Schonenbach that here warmed up the Angola before a concert tracannando beers! The environment seemed to us immediately to be absolutely familiar and, although we do not understand a German word, we felt comfortable. The room is simple and clean, the decor a little dated but perfectly in line with the place. We enjoyed an excellent cream and mushroom soup, a salad of local rawness, a chicken breast with finferli and potato croquettes and a plentiful ice cream to finish. All watered by blonde beer and plentiful for a total of 24 euros per head. Of course the fantasy is not the main ingredient of German cuisine but all in all we found well. Our holidays in the black forest began with the right foot. . ."

"This place is a hidden gem in the Black Forest. The rooms are clean and comfortable with incredible views. The service is friendly and attentive and the food in the restaurant is great. The value for your money here is fantastic. You can walk out the door and take many different trails through the Black Forest, each one full of beautiful sights. The surroundings are just stunning. Climb the tower to see the Swiss Alps in the distance, enjoy a drink on the sunny terrace, or simple sit on one of the benches arranged to catch the best views and soak it all in."
